This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because childhood cancer is a devastating problem and this disease is directly impacting some of my friends and family. I have been touched by the struggles these and many other families face during the diagnosis and treatment phases of this harrowing trial of life. The fortitude and bright spirits these children display in the face of adversity is humbling and inspiring. Seeing their examples, praying for the healing and divine support of the families and children has lead me to challenge myself to contribute in some way...and this seemed a worthy outlet.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
