This will be my third year so apparently, it's become a tradition to take part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer during the month of September! This year, I dedicate my rides in memory of my sisters Peggy, Lynn, and Sue, and to my father-in-law Dick who was an avid biker into his 90s.

I am riding and raising funds because I have witnessed what cancer and treatments do to a person's body and the stresses it places on the whole family. At a minimum, it steals portions of their lives. Kids should be playing, going to school, and fighting with their siblings not going to doctor appointments, treatments, and fighting for their lives. The funds raised will allow researchers working for the Children's Cancer Research Fund to continue their work developing lifesaving treatments and working to find a cure for childhood cancer.

But, I can't do this alone. I need you to support this effort by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve. Although I don't know the smallest amount that will be taken on line, I do know that $20 worked in the past.
