I'm Riding For

For all those who have been touched by cancer...

For all those who have been touched by cancer...

I ride in honor and memory of my Aunt Gayle and my grandmother, Lorraine, two family members I lost to the battle of Cancer, and for all those touched by it. They were my inspiration, and my rock at times. They were the ones who taught me to never give up or surrender. Especially growing up as one of those kids who was harassed and bullied throughout school. They taught to never falter in my beliefs, to challenge the norm, and to always dream among many other things. I lived a life that's been fractured, broken and far from perfect, but I thank the divine powers for each new day I get to see and remember that those who have gone before me now watch over me. I also ride for all my friends, coworkers and my fellow cosplay/nerd community and family who have fought the battle and won, for those who lost, and for the survivors and caregivers whom fight alongside the fighters and act as the beacon of hope to that friend, family or co-worker during the hardest fight of their lives.

My Story

6 Sep 2022

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I will be logging my miles throughout September whenever I ride. To help keep motivated, I ask you to take a moment to possibly donate whatever you can offer to give towards my goal to fight childhood cancers. If you cannot donate, then PLEASE share my effort across your social media and spread the word to help me reach my goal!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So help me support the Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Your support will change little lives.

Thank you.
