A true beacon of life that was taken from us far too soon. I know that my effort cycling pales in comparison to the effort my dear cousin gave fighting for her life. Her Leukemia cancer was just an affliction. It wasn't a characteristic or a defining feature. Her strength, determination, and perseverance were. I can only hope to follow her example. We will always love you and miss you Tatiyana

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I am also riding for any other type of cancer. My Uncle Joe Malen from the great state of Alaska is thankfully in remission from Prostate Cancer.

Psalm 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
