Denise Lynn Pavlic
Denise is the sister of a good friend of mine. Denise lost her battle with Leukemia when she was 8 1/2 years old. She is remembered and lives on through her sister.
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

September 5, 2026 - 100 mile ride!!
6 Sep 2026Rode 100.7 miles for the Kids’ today! Great Day and great ride. Belmont, Mi to Big Rapids , Mi. And back to Belmont, Mi. Met Cathy for dinner at the Cedar Springs Brewery and then biked home to finish the ride.
First time I’ve ridden 100 miles in one ride!

4 Sep 2026Road 64 miles today. Had to wait out a thunderstorm in Howard City and then pushed on. Great ride. Got a bit wet but no worries. Lots of Critters today.
