  “Many years ago, when I was a teenager, I had a friend. She was smart, talented, and had a great heart. On several occassions prior to moving to the US, I was coming to her home and she was never there. The night before my move I came to see her and finally she was home. I knew she had some issues but I was not aware what exactly. I had some more packing to do, but she asked me to stay overnight. She said "This might be the last time we see each other." I told her I will come back or she will come to the US, so I am sure we will meet again. She was almost in tears, so I stayed. Years have passed. I spoke to my FB friend who knew both of us -- we studied together from 1st to 8th grade. I started to ask questions about kids we knew. The time came to ask about my friend at the time. He told me that few months after I moved, she died. She had leukemia. I am donating not only to help save children, but also in her memory. I wish I could donate more.”
