I'm Riding For
Riding for Reese Estes (Survivor)
Riding in honor of the bravest kid I know. My daughter Reese, now 11 years old, is a shining example of resilience, strength, and hope. After facing childhood cancer at a young age, she has now been cancer-free for an incredible 8 years and is absolutely thriving. 🎗️ Every year, I ride to honor her journey and to stand alongside every child and family currently facing this fight. I ride for those in treatment, those celebrating victories, those living with uncertainty, and those who have tragically lost a loved one to childhood cancer. We ride not just to fight cancer, but to bring attention to the urgent need for continued research and better treatments. Every mile ridden and every dollar raised helps move us closer to a future where no child has to hear the words, "You have cancer." Reese's story reminds me every day why this work matters. Her courage continues to inspire everyone who knows her. Join us as we ride to shatter the limits imposed by childhood cancer. 🚴♂️🎗️
My Story
🚴♂️🎗️ Riding for Reese. Riding for Every Kid Fighting Cancer.
As many of you know, each year I participate in the Great Cycle Challenge to raise money for childhood cancer research. This cause is deeply personal to our family.
My daughter Reese is now 11 years old and thriving. After facing childhood cancer at a very young age, she has been cancer-free for 8 years. Watching her grow into the amazing young person she is today reminds me every day how fortunate we are and why this fight matters.
Not every family receives the outcome we were blessed to receive.
Every year, thousands of children and their families hear the words no parent ever wants to hear: "Your child has cancer." While tremendous progress has been made, there is still so much work to do.
The treatments that helped save Reese's life were made possible because people before us invested in research, innovation, and hope. Today, we have the opportunity to do the same for the next child and the next family facing this journey.
That's why I'm riding again this year.
Every mile ridden and every dollar raised helps fund critical childhood cancer research and brings us closer to a future where no child has to fight this disease.
If you'd like to support the ride, I would be grateful for your contribution. More importantly, I hope Reese's story serves as a reminder that hope is real, research works, and together we can continue changing lives.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
