My Story

This September, I am taking part in my seventh Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! This is my 7th Summer of Healing, my way to express gratitude for the support I received when I broke my back. Riding was one of the main ways I exercised as I regained my ability to walk.

This year I am dedicating my ride to Phil Codere. I am hoping this dedication will help Phil and his family with their daily battle. My goal is that every mile and every thought provide that extra show of support and healing juju that Phil and all of these kids need.

Cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. I have lost friends and family to cancer and people I love are battling it now.

So, I am raising funds to support the Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop life saving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by donating to fund research for these kids, Phil, and their families to give them the brighter futures they deserve.
