This September, I’m back for my third ride in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

Please support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

I had originally signed up in 2019 to try this challenge, but then wouldn’t you know it- cancer.

HER2+ Stage 2 Grade 3 Breast Cancer. A yearlong treatment protocol.

It took me out of a number of things, especially my bike. This was devastating to me.

My first Solo ride wasn't until July 2020.

2023 will have an extra edge for me in the challenge as I will be 10 months post-op from my new knee. Cycling is how I prepared for surgery in November of 2022. Spring of 2023 has me slowly adding short distances on my bike in my recovery phase. I'm hoping by September I'll be able to meet the 275 mile goal.

I’m riding for all those impacted by cancer, but especially the kids- no one deserves a cancer diagnosis- EVER- but especially children.

I'm pedaling especially for my little friend, Aubrey this year as she moves into a maintenance treatment phase of an aggressive childhood cancer in which she started treatment last summer.
