This September, for the tenth year I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Children should be living life, having fun, learning new things, not fighting for their lives.

2023 and the first part of 2024 brought me some serious health issues. I came very close to not being alive to participate in this event. I am thankful and grateful for a wonderful medical staff, the support of family and friends, and prayers offered in my behalf. After a period of recovery, and a stint in physical therapy it was my desire and goal to participate in 2024 Challenge.

I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
