Why I Ride – And Why I’m Asking for Your Help

This September, I’m riding in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight children’s cancer, the leading cause of disease-related death among kids in the United States. Every year, over 15,700 children are diagnosed, and thirty-eight die each week.

I ride in honor of our son Wade, who we lost to cancer on January 14, 2019. His tomorrows were taken from him far too soon.

So now, I will ride tomorrow.

Tomorrow is hope. Tomorrow is healing.

And for children still in the fight, tomorrow means everything.

I’m riding to raise $25,000 for the Children’s Cancer Research Fund, which helps develop lifesaving treatments and brings us closer to a cure. The money you give goes directly to funding breakthrough research, better therapies, and brighter futures.

I ride for kids who deserve more tomorrows.
