My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

    So just ran a short errand to help tally my ride total. It’s been raining off and on all day so far-otherwise it’s nice weather for a ride! A little cooler but pleasant overall! Saw a few other riders during this trip. Wonder if they’re doing this Challenge as well? Hope everyone has a great rest of their day🙂🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲

    So-logging my 2nd ride of today! Whew!😰 Ran a bunch of different errands from my end of town to the other-I hope I don’t have to do that more than once every couple weeks!😬But that one’s done and I’m content with today’s tally!

    Well, today I did my first ride! 2.35 miles so far today. Kind of a shorter one as I rode to a meeting this morning and had to get back to take my dog out 😂I may log more a bit later..happy September and keep on riding people!🚲🚲🚲🚲
