Grace Gianotti

2025's GCC is dedicated to my friend Dara's daughter Grace. To try to capture in a short post the life of such an incredible girl would not do her justice. Grace loved 80's music, dancing, dogs, and simply anything she could get her hands on. She unfortunately lost her battle with cancer in March of this year, and we miss her very very much. All of my campaign efforts this year will have Grace's name and photo on them, and I encourage you to read up on both the Great Cycle Challenge and Children's Cancer Research Fund (who runs the event & does amazing work for kids cancer research & support). Keep those donations coming and watch this space for more updates! So this year's ride is for Grace, and all the others who fought the good fight up until now. I'm riding to make sure that more kids have a better chance at more tomorrows. Every little bit is worth its weight to make a difference...

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
