This is our friend Mando Chavez, an incredible person we met at the soccer fields, but the passion towards the sport created a long lasting friendship. He bravely lost his battle against cancer. I would like to take this opportunity to remember him as the happy person he was. His wife Aracely says " Mando was a great husband but an even better father, he was caring, loving, and funny. He always worried about us more than he did about himself, even in his last moments his concern was his kids and the pain we would feel once he was gone, not once did he complain about his own pain..." Rest in Peace our dear Mando

My Story

This June, i am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I am not a professional cyclist but I enjoy my summer break riding my bike every morning. This will be my second consecutive year participating and this time my challenge it's to complete 500 miles... I am going to try my best and dedicate each drop of sweat to all those heroes fighting for a new opportunity each day.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

I will again dedicate my challenge to our unforgettable friend Mando Chavez who bravely lost his battle against cancer.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
