My Story

27 Aug 2026

As most of you know I ride my bike almost daily and now I have a reason to ride. This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer in support of my grand daughter Amelia and her mother Alison Clement. Eighteen years ago Alison lost her son to brain cancer when he was only 5 years old.

Right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. Alison's son was one of the children that did not make it and he had to fight a battle that should never have been his to begin with because he was literally just a baby.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

Thank you.
