My Cousin Javier

Three years ago, I lost my Grandpa who fought. He was the light of every room, always bringing laughter, love, and happiness to everyone around him. Watching someone I loved so deeply go through that battle changed me forever. His memory continues to be a source of strength and motivation for me. Today, my family is facing another difficult fight. My cousin just lost his fight last week. I’m riding for Javier and his family. I’m riding for my Grandpa, whose strength and memory inspire me to keep moving forward. And I’m riding for all the families who have heard the words “you have cancer” and know the pain and uncertainty that follows. Every mile I ride will carry a little piece of their story.
