All the past warriors
This eighth year I'm riding to celebrate the amazing warriors over the past seven years that I have had the opportunity to ride in honor or memory. Each one I have ridden in honor of, has experienced many great adventures, that I want share with you. Some of you have wanted to know how they are currently doing, I will be sharing those updates. So come and join this journey for the month of September. I will be sharing my rides and pictures. The fresh sourdough bread will again be a part of my way of giving back to you for your part in making this a great year in the fight against childhood cancer. My Story
This September, will be my Eighth year in taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! Last year with your support, together we raised over $4,800. I believe we can raise $4,500! Over the last seven years, we have raised over $31,000. Let's make it over $35,000. Thank you for "riding" with me!
Why? Because, cancer is still the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 5-7 children die of cancer every day.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
