I'm Riding For

Gunner Rix

I am riding this year for Gunner Rix. He is an 11-year-old boy who has a brain tumor. Gunner has been in treatment 8 of his 11 years. It has been a long and touchy road for him and his family. He has had multiple surgeries and has endured 9 treatment protocols. Currently he is traveling nearly 570 miles monthly to participate in a clinical trial. His brain tumor is responding well but the side effects are harsh. Please consider donating toward my ride today and let's help find new, better available treatments and help to end childhood cancer for Gunner and friends. They deserve it!!!

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
