This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

Your support will change little lives.

Last time I did this was in 2022, when I rode over 500 miles for the month of September raising money for the kids. I rode 3,233 miles that year, 127 rides (2022). 2023 and 2024 SUCKED for riding because of my Melanoma (Stage FOUR) Cancer--the drugs kicked my ass. I'm riding again this year, nowhere near that 2022 total but I'm on the bike, that's what counts. Wanted to ride 200 miles for this fight, this month, but downgraded it to 100 miles. I have one 10 miler left, on the 30th, to get to the 100 miles and my $100 goal. I'm not asking for support this year! Just doing it because it needs to be done! I'd love to ride (1 ride) my age this December, I'll be 64. I don't know if I can pull that off, but I'll try. I did it in 2022. GET YOUR SKIN CHECKED AND STOP SCREWING AROUND AND PUTTING IT OFF. My MELANOMA (SKIN CANCER!!!) was at Stage 3C when discovered! Had spread to lymph nodes! The earlier discovery the BETTER. GET IT DONE!!!! And get your dang COLONOSCOPY DONE! It kills both Men & Women! Peace out!
