As you know, last year I was riding for my friend's grandson Charlie. We were all optimistic that his cancer treatments would be successful and they were... TIL THEY WEREN'T! Here is and updated as of August 1, posted on facebook by Heather, Charlie's Mom: "I keep thinking about writing this post and then doing anything but. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind. Most know by now that Charlie’s cancer has returned. What no one knows yet is exactly where and how much. Next week we have scans that will help us understand more and decide what comes next." So again I am dedicating this year's fund raising efforts and riding for Charlie, an adorable super gutsy young man, now 13. I hope you all are as generous as you have been and thank you in advance. He had an amazing birthday!!! The cards, calls, visits, and messages meant so much to him. Everyone has been so kind and generous.. we are grateful for our village. 💛💛 There are a lot of great events coming up in the next few months to support the fight against pediatric cancer, and we hope to make it to some of them. Thank you, again, for all the love and support. It means more than you know.
