I'm riding in memory of my Aunt Pat that passed from lung cancer and many others that have lost their battle to CANCER. I also ride for those that have and are fighting the good fight to win against this disease "CANCER!!" My husband so far has been fortunate enough to have beaten CANCER twice, he is truly my personal CANCER WARRIOR!! I also have a friends son that has so far won his battle against this devastating disease. I do have one friends son whom unfortunately lost hid battle at a young age, he was the original person I started riding for. My HOPE and PRAYERS are that someday we will no longer have CANCER in our vocabulary!!

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
