This time last year I signed up for this excited and feeling good about supporting a good cause. I got one good ride in and then my mother whom was suffering from advanced stage breast cancer went down a whirlwind of hospital visits and time just didn’t slow down… we lost her last September. She lived a whole life, I can’t imagine a child having to suffer the same pain and not even get to have the opportunity of embracing a whole life, adventure, mistakes, missteps, joy, love and deep belly laughs that hit so hard they make you cry.

I’m back this year to complete the challenge how I had initially intended and make a tiny difference in a child’s life.

Because everyone should have the chance to live their lives without it being robbed of them because of cancer…
