Scott Schipper

My friend Scott lost his two year battle with cancer on Dec. 28, 2013. He was among the nicest, and coolest people I knew in high school. He was a positive person and always sought to uplift people especially with music. I still can't believe he is gone. Before he died he visited other cancer patients. He gave his time for children with cancer because that is the kind of guy he was even when he was facing death.

My Story

This year, for the 5th year in a row, I will be riding over 1,000 miles in the month of September, and I am currently kicking off fundraising for the Children's Cancer Research Fund.

This year is a very special challenge for me as I am an Athletes for Palestine featured athlete dedicating every mile I ride for the children all around the world. Children need to be living life, not fighting for it. I believe in organizations like the Children's Cancer Research Fund now more than ever. Children are always going to need our help as they face life's challenges no matter who they are, place of origin, religious beliefs, and cultural heritage, no matter what.
