Did you know right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States? Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. Approximately 1 in 285 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer before their 20th birthday. Globally there are more than 300,000 children diagnosed with cancer each year. Every 3 minutes, somewhere in the world a family hears the devastating words that their child has been diagnosed with cancer. While survival rates for many types of childhood cancer have improved, for too many children, cancer will shorten their lives too soon.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I have pledged to cycle 250 miles this September to raise awareness and funds to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
