My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! Unfortunately 10 days ago I was doing a training ride for this great event to raise money to help defeat childhood cancer. Suddenly, BOOM I hit a hole in the road and go down. Fortunately a nice out of town couple stopped to help me, called 911 and I was taken to RRMC and have care from a Level 2 trauma center. I had, a broken clavicle requiring surgery. Additionally I had 9 broken ribs all on the right side. Add on multiple contusions and skin injuries requiring a skin vac, and probably surgery on right lower leg for a skin graft. HOWEVER I AM STILL ASKING FOR A DONATION HELP IN THIS FIGHT. SO IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU CAN A DONATION WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
