Lou-Ellen & Chad Lallier

Lou-Ellen & Chad Lallier

Lou-Ellen is nothing short of an angel on earth! She is one of the most caring, loving persons you ever want to meet. She has worked in the health care world for many years showing her passion and love to help others. She currently is a clinical instructor and was an acute care nurse practitioner in neurosurgery. I was lucky enough to meet through our love of football and become a dear friend with this beautiful, kind, inspiring, and loving woman, wife, and Mom! After several years of friendship, we discovered she was one of my caregivers at R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma - where I literally had my life saved. What an experience to realize she was one of my angels, too! Lou-Ellen is shown with her husband, Chad, a community servant and Fire Service leader. The Lallier's were receiving a garden stone and induction into the Foundation of Miracles' "Angels Wall of Fame" for their dedication to serve through their jobs, their passionate desire to help others, and how much they inspire others. Lou-Ellen and Chad have had to face the realization that Lou-Ellen had been diagnosed with Stage 3 B Ovarian Cancer. Chad has been a fierce source of strength and wonderful partner - encouraging and being with her every step of the way. Lou-Ellen has shown incredible courage and determination to kick her cancer to the curb. With love and continuous prayers, I dedicate my Great Cycle Challenge Ride to them - as they continue to inspire me and others - making days brighter and better for so many. Love you both and I am so thankful the Lord put you in my life and gave me more life to live. May the Lord watch over their family through this health challenge journey. God bless and thank you for being who you are and what you mean to me, the community they serve, and so many who have been touched by their love of family and friends.

My Story

10 Jun 2023

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer. Last year my goal was 100 miles and I completed over 300 miles and I pledged $1000 and raised over $2500 - thanks to many generous individuals. Weather conditions (hurricane) definitely cut down on the mileage, but let's see what this 75+ year old guy can pull off this year, especially with your support.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve. Your support will change little lives.

Thank you.
