My dad, Bill Samuelson

He taught me to ride a bicycle and we shared a passion for cycling. We rode thousands of miles together. He was a cancer survivor although he is gone now.

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

    That’s what you all are — INCREDIBLE! I was blown away by everyone’s generosity so early in my fundraising this month. I have already far-exceeded my goal of $500. Currently we have put together $914. Thanks to your generosity we could make it to $1000. Many of you have sacrificed so much to make it possible. While I am grinding away the miles, YOU are the real heroes!
