This September, for the 5th year, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Did you know that cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

My own life was touched by cancer in 2021, when I had a radical hysterectomy where endometrial cancer was found and removed. I have 3 years cancer free and pray for many many more.

I do all of my rides indoor on a recumbent bike, wearing a Meta Quest 3 headset, using an app called VZFit (and sometimes another app called Holofit). This enables me to ride all over the world through integration with google images. It's amazingly realistic and the time flies while I'm riding!
