My Story

It's that time again, and I am excited to take part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight children's cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

As I reflect on this I remember the Bible verse (Acts 20:35) " In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”

So as a child of God ready to help others and as the verse says, I am riding and giving my time to talk to others so that we can help children and many others suffering with this disease.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it!

I have pledged to ride and raise funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
