This year I am riding for four year old Sutton Hunt, Sutty. Sutty was diagnosised last September with Type B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, B-ALL. Sutty has a long road ahead with treatment lasting 2-3 years. Currently, Sutty is under going one of the harder phases of treatment, delayed intensification. As Sutty battles pediatric cancer, let's join her in the battle bc no one rides alone!

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

    Sutton Hunt is our warrior for this year's GCC campaign. Sutty is 4 years old and last September was diagnosised with Type B ALL. A rapidly growing pediatric cancer that causes the white blood cells to grow rapidly. Sutty has about 2-3 years of treatment and is currently in a phase of treatment that can be tough on kiddos. However, this warrior has handled it like a champ and has only had two short hospitalization. We think that is a victory!!!! Aa Sutty enters the second phase of this treatment, it is expected to be harder on her, let's stand with her so she knows no one rides alone in this group.

    Raising awareness and money to help fund research is the most ideal way to end childhood cancer. IF you are called to donate, please click this link. If not, there are other ways to participate. Like, comment, share social media post is one way. Calling, texting, writing are other ways. This is a team effort and your participation is vitally needed so future cyclist like Sutty can ride free of cancer bc children should be living life, not fighting for it.
