This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer.

Cancer is the top killer of children from disease in the U.S. Over 15,700 kids are diagnosed every year. 38 children die of cancer every week.

Sadly my sister was one of these kids. She was diagnosed with cancer when we were in high school. For 8 years, my family and I stood by her as she fought as hard as she could. In the face of all the challenges this disease threw at her, she showed so much admirable courage and strength that I continually reflect on and look up to.

I’m always trying to keep bringing her love and positivity into this world, even though she’s no longer physically here. So I am raising funds through this challenge to help kids like my sister, and to support Children's Cancer Research Fund in their efforts to develop lifesaving treatments and to find a cure for childhood cancer.
