Cole Johansen

My friend Cole was diagnosed with brain cancer (Glioma) when he was just 9 years old. He has undergone 10 years of continuous chemotherapy and recently found out he must undergo surgery to remove yet another tumor. Day after day year after year he faces his disease with strength and courage and a belief that someday he will beat this horrible disease. I know he can do it. I joined this ride so that I can help kids just like Cole beat cancer once and for all. Together we can do this!

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge riding 200 miles to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
