Throughout the month of September, I am again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I may have less down time this year, but this endeavor is very important to me...and even more so to those affected by this disease.

Cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

I'm striving toward helping kids live life, not spend their days fighting for it.

As the husband of a cancer survivor, a dad, an uncle, a cousin, and an educator...I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support my efforts this month by making a donation as I ride a minimum of 400 miles and raise at least $500 to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
