My Story

I am participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to raise funds to support the fight against childhood cancer this September.

I'll be riding this September, for two children, Kai, who is a 3-year-old, and Emma, who is a 3-year-old as well. I have a link to share below so you can read their story.

In 2016, I rode my bike for Marcelle's Dad, who passed away from lung cancer on July 1, 2002, after an over a year-long battle with lung cancer.

In 2017, I rode my bike for Callie, who passed away on Saturday, April 7, after a 2-year-long battle with pelvic rhabdomyosarcoma.

In 2018, I rode my bike for Nat, who passed away on Friday, April 1,9 after a 3-year-long battle with osteosarcoma.

In 2019, I rode my bike for my friend Dafne, who passed away on July 11, 2019, after a 15-year battle with Lymphoma.

In 2020, I rode my bike for Lily at age 3. Lily was officially diagnosed with leukemia

In 2021, I rode my bike for 3-year-old Lily and 1-year-old Anja.

In 2022, I rode my bike for 4-year-old Lily and 2-year-old Anja.

In 2023, I rode my bike for 5-year-old Lily and 3-year-old Anja.

In 2024, I rode my bike for Maracella Elizabeth Uvalles, who passed away on April 7, 2024, after 8 Years battling brain cancer (Anaplastic Astrocytoma frontal right lobe)

In 2025, I rode my bike for Rubi. Just turned 7 and at 6 years old, Rubi was diagnosed with T-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in August 2023.
