This ride is a tribute to my Dad, Brunz~he lost his fight to Pancreatic Cancer 3/29/2020, but he never quit smiling. I’m taking this challenge for you Dad, you were always coaching kids to play a great game like your life depends on it, take a chance with no fear & know your field position, be a good team mate & enjoy yourself no matter what. Live for today for a better tomorrow. Be the game changer, Vic. So I take this challenge with the hope &desire to change the future of Children’s Cancer with my team of supportive fabulous folks. My goal is to fight for these tiny fierce warriors &wake up one day & Cancer will not be a challenge kids have to face or experience. Brunz taught me to be the motivator & to never give up trying to accomplish my goals & help people achieve their goals as well while always giving “110% best you can be” &stay in the moment, focus on the people that need you most & love the most & celebrate that victory moment with a fighting spirit & be grateful for the challenge. Dad’s VIM & VIGOR was always stellar. Dad~you had that good vibe motivation during your warrior journey & it pushed me in gear to play my best game of life to seek out a group who needed my efforts to give back~today I can make a difference to give it “my all” to cycle great for these warrior kids now & for their healthy tomorrow’s. No doubt you will be with me Dad, every mile I ride for these kiddos. I know you will be the wind at my wheels, so let’s Rock&ROLL{my Dad always said that}to kick Cancer’s butt. .peace.
