Many of you will remember, back in 2002, I broke my neck and layed paralyzed in a bed. It was only due to generous donations that funded ground breaking research, that allowed me to walk again.

While the research of spinal research will never be compete, there is another charity that has been underfunded and needs our help. I lost an entire year learning to walk. I was 21. The thought that a innocent child would have to experience something similar... breaks by heart. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

Cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the USA. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year; 38 children die every week.

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight children s' cancer.
