Hey Everybody! The route details for the ride on Saturday are below.

It looks like the weather could be somewhat rough, but we’ll still be riding rain or shine, as long as the weather isn’t hazardous. Please be prepared for some cold & wet riding. If you choose not to ride, I’d encourage you to meet up with us at one of the stops during the times listed below.

Please be aware of social distancing rules while riding and for our stops along the way. We all want to make this as safe as possible for the entire group!

Also, don’t forget to make arrangements to get home from Geneva. You’re more than welcome to ride back, but it’s a one way trip for me.

These times are a best estimate, we’ll do our best to keep the schedule for any and all planning to join up midway. If you want real time updates on the day of the ride, please join the Facebook group we made for this ride. We’ll be posting any delays on there.

Hey Eileen. We’ll treat it as a no drop ride as long as we can keep a decent schedule for all those joining mid ride. I’m not a strong rider myself, so you should be just fine!

Eileen,

I am not the fastest rider either, so maybe you and I can hang at the back?

Sounds like a plan. I have two bikes: a road bike and a hybrid. Since I fell last year and broke a wrist, (the day after the challenge!), I have been riding my hybrid more, because I feel safer. Anyway, that does keep me at a slower pace. :) Hope to see you in Wheaton!

HI Ben,

I am interested in joining your ride possibly. I live in Wheaton so would only join the group upon your arrival in town. I am wanting to do the ride to Geneva. I am not a beer drinker so would just come along for the ride.

Hey Rachel,

Happy to hear you want to join! Feel free to join up in Wheaton, and there’s no need to drink if that’s not your thing 😊.

I’ll try to put in some ETA’s for each destination so people know when we’re arriving at each location.

We plan to spend 20-30 mins at each location depending on what the group wants/needs.

This is my first time organizing a group ride, so I’m open to suggestions.

Can’t wait to see you there!
