En honor a mi papá (Luis A. Penedo), quien desde sus 5 años a 12 años de edad tenia cancer. Vivio y trato siempre de ser una persona de bien, no solo con sus seres queridos, sino con toda la gente. Fue un hombre con muchas virtudes, le daba gracias a Dios todos los dias por estar vivo. Siempre dijo que no sabia que es un dolor de cabeza porque sus males fueron de niño. Despues, de vivis 50 hermosos años mas sano, Dios lo llamo que ya era hora, literalmente nos lo dejo 50 años pa disfrutarlo. Yo en sus 6 años de su partida, solo quiero ayudar a mas niños para que tengan la misma oportunidad que mi papá.

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
