I'm Riding For
Tatum
I am riding in Honor of Tatum. Tatum is 15 years old sophmore at Benton Community High School. Tatum plays basketball but had to miss joining her team in the State Tournament because she is in the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. Tatum was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and is undergoing chemotherapy treatments. Tatum is a fighter and has an extremely large village to help her and her family through this journey.
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Nate always said if he died of cancer instead of 1 child, it was worth it to him. He made me promise to continue to support this charity because he knows how bad he suffered and no child deserves to suffer!
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
