This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

As you may know, my grand niece was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2016 at age 4. She received chemotherapy as well other treatments at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for 4 years. She still has to go to CHOP for regular testing to make sure the ALL does not come back. Now, at 13 years of age, my grand niece is an amazing, beautiful young lady with the most loving and kind nature. Our family is blessed to still have her with us. So many families are not that lucky.

Having seen what a child with cancer has to bear, and how heart wrenching it is for the family is why I want to fight kid's cancer.

Right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
