Hi, friends. This September, we are riding in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer. Our goal is to pedal 200 miles and raise $4,000.

Why are we doing this? Because cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States - 38 kids die every week.

Sophia Kappen was a bright, precocious, loving, funny and innocent 5-year-old when she was diagnosed with the 'easiest-to-cure' form of Leukemia. Cancer is EVIL, and way too soon, she was out of options.

Almost a year to the day after she was diagnosed, Sophia received her angel wings. I ride for Sophia and all the other children and families that suffer from this evil disease.
