My Story

Once again I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer.

The Great Cycle Challenge was the favorite charitable event of my former rugby teammate, longtime friend, & riding partner Jim Cunningham who we lost in 2022.

It was Jim's idea to first do the GCC in 2020 and he is the reason I've continued, now in my 6th year.

Why?

Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

As Jim often said, "Kids should be living their lives, not fighting for them."

So here we go again raising funds through the Great Cycling Challenge in September 2025 to help these kids and support the Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
