This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight cancer! While this event is a fundraising event, I have no expectations of people to donate to my cause, just read my story and bring awareness to cancer.

While the Great Cycle Challenge's purpose is to raise money for childhood cancer. It is also a platform to raise awareness about all types of cancer and the different people if effects. Additionally, how it effects the families of those going through treatment or have lost someone to this disease.

For me, my mother and 3 of her sisters have all died of some form of cancer. This has been very difficult on our families.

In addition, and the reason I started on the Great Cycle Challenge is that our best friend’s daughter, at the age of 11 was diagnosed with cancer. She is now a CANCER SURVIVOR, she has graduated from High School, been accepted to college and has her eye’s set on medical school.

Your support will change the lives of adults and children living with cancer, as research can help to find new treatments and eventually a cure for cancer.
