I'm Riding For
In July 2020, Theo, who was four years old at the time, was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma. He went through a rigorous 18 month treatment plan that included chemotherapy, radiation and two stem cell transplants. He was a rockstar through it all. His positivity was constantly shining through, even in the toughest parts of treatment. He endured over five months worth of inpatient stays, and countless outpatient appointments and thankfully responded great to the treatment provided. He rang the bell in January 2022. Like most kids who go through treatment he will have long term side effects, but you would never know that because of his resilience and outstanding attitude. Theo is now a happy and healthy six year old who loves riding his bike, playing trains and everything superheroes. He is currently attending kindergarten and loving every minute of it. We are forever grateful for those who dedicated their lives to saving his.
This September, I will be riding in my 8th year of the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I am the team captain for Zebra Technologies and the corporate sponsor for this community outreach at Zebra. This year is Zebra’s 5th year sponsoring a team and we have stepped up this year as a corporate sponsor for this ride. Zebra provided a corporate donation.
This year I am riding in honor of Theo. Read his story provided by his mom. Thank you for the honor of allowing me to ride in honor of you son. He is just one of many children and their families who fight cancer each year. Not every child is as lucky as Theo. As you can see his treatments were arduous.
Please support my ride this by donating to this page to brighten the futures these children deserve. LET US KICK CANCER’S BUTT.
Your sponsorship will change lives.
Thank you, Bruce Henderson
