All my family that has suffered cancer

I've already lost two grandmothers to cancer, and nearly a third. Many people in my family have now battled cancer in some form, but my heart is for my kids. Kids are not only our future, but a light upon this world. We need to find better solutions to cancer than what we have currently, especially for them!

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

Quite a few of my family members have, or have had, cancer. It affects more people than we might realize. However, I could not imagine my children having to deal with cancer when they've only just begun to live.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments.
