This is the 5th year riding for the Challenge.

This year is going to be hard to up what I have done the past couple years! So I come up with something crazy to challenge myself, and help raise awareness. First year it was 1,000 miles, and the next year was a couple of centuries,3rd year the vEverest challenge , and last year an attempt at Mayport, FL to Key West, FL the wind got me though!. This year I’m juggling my new job, no longer in the Navy, and some work travel. I’m riding hard and may make another attempt at 200+ miles in a day. I’m still pledging 1,000 miles for the month! I'm trying to raise more this year from $500 to $1000 I'll try to double miles for whatever dollar comes in. I haven't let you down yet so why stop now.

I have been cycling for many years, but in the last couple years made the switch to road biking. 5 years ago when I met Lily it really hit home because she only lived a few house from me, and her father is also a Navy Chief like myself. It pushed me to drive hard everyday, in getting those miles in the bag. I will again be pushing hard for these children, because they deserve to live a healthy, and fun life free of cancer.
