My name is David. Late 2025 I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. I was confined to home and on a feeding tube. Through great doctors and surgeons, in April I had the tumor and cancer removed through esophagectomy and have been going through the long healing process.

I have a 11 year old daughter Abigail. I have been fortunate enough that her health has been exceptional. Although I have had family members that have passed away from cancer, I cannot for the life of me know the heartache that families go through when they hear that their child has cancer. If I can help even a fraction, to help them get better or to make them more comfortable during treatment or to help the children or parents with emotional support to know that people on the outside are fighting for them just as much as the doctors and nurses.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
