Next month, I'm riding 250 miles in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer... and my challenge starts THIS WEEKEND! This will be my 10th year of riding and fundraising for the organization. My efforts with them to date have raised $11,899.00 and I have ridden 2,898 miles.

A few days ago, my picture was on this huge billboard in Times Square for Tribute Day, a day to create awareness of childhood cancer and honor the brave and courageous kids fighting this terrible disease. Because more than 15,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year in the United States, and 38 kids die every week. It's heart-breaking.

I ride to honor my late father, Paul Marshall, who always gave back to children and the community through the Serena Lions Club and Serena United Methodist Church. He bravely fought his own cancer battle.
