My father, Wayne King

Most of you know my story. I’ve been fortunate enough to see God come to my rescue through generous, caring people on many occasions. I’ve always wanted to be on the other side of that experience and get to be the one giving to someone in their time of need ~ but I haven’t had that opportunity. Now, I’ve found a way to give of my time in a measurable, tangible way to a cause I feel deeply connected to. My Father, Wayne King and my Grandfather Vernon King both died of cancer, and I’m riding in honor of these 2 amazing men and in hopes of continuing in their legacy of caring for others.

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
