Connie Jo Stepnitz

I am riding 200 miles in memory of my dear friend, Connie Jo Stepnitz. She was a beautiful, and loving soul that passed just this May from a long fight of several years against cancer. She was a great leader, and mentor as an Air Force recruiter and a city community services director in her lifetime. She always had a warm smile, unwavering kindness, and a positive impact on everyone she knew. She was a proud military veteran who held the honor of being the "First female F-15 crew chief" in the US Air Force. She was my recruiter when I was 18 years old, but for the next 40 years, she was also one of my best and dearest of friends. Please sponsor and support my challenge to fight kids' cancer and save little lives.

My Story

Hello Friends & Family, on September 2024 I am participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! That gives me 4 weeks to train and prep for the official kick-off bike challenge.

Why? Because I have personally lost many close friends and family to cancer, and a few are battling it as I write this.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support the Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by donating any amount to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
